  3. i think that transferring the quail was fun. When i picked up the quail i was laughing sooooooooooo hard once i realized that the quails head was out of my hand! I got pecked! When i put the quail in the big box insted of jumping out he rolled out backwerds! I hope my class mates had as much fun as I had raising the quail! Kristen Ramos

  6. It's hard to believe how big the quail are now when they were just so tiny in the eggs. I wish I grew that fast!

  7. I can't believe how big they have gotten! I remember when they had just hatched.They where so soft and tiny that you can cup them in your hands! Now they would probably fly out of your hands. Thank you Mrs. Mullikin for letting us hatch quail eggs in our class and thank you for letting us have free time the week they were hatching!I thank you also for being a great teacher!

  8. I liked watching the quail coming out of the eggs. They were wet, weak and wobbly. They were so cute. The chicks are getting bigger and stronger and soon we will have to let them go. That will be sad.

  11. The chicks are sooooooo cute and cuddly. It's funny how it says are you looking at me. I loved transfering them. I liked seeing them coming out of the eggs! Kaylin is right. letting them go will be sad. But we can't keep wild animals in the classroom. They're so big now! I can't belive how big they got over the break! Thank you Mrs. Mullikin for letting us have these quail! And thank you Mrs. Ruiz for bringing them in to us!
